This very word "Secular" is become so famous and popular in the India that it's got printed and spoken lacs of time in Media. I got irritated by this work "Secular"!!
No one in India, yes No one is Secular here. What a Secular state means? A state, where no religion is bigger than Law of Land, where govt works without considering religion, caste, creed of individuals. But here in India, right from your birth, caste certificate is being asked. I remember, I felt that I am Brahmin in Society only when my classteacher asked me to pay the school fees as I was among the Upper caste students. I certainly knew that I am brahmin from my parents. But I never felt anything different than my neighbours or my friends nor my parents felt such things. It was only from that day, we from the class knew each other's caste and knew the things like Upper and lower castes. After some years, after my SSC, during the admission for 11th class, one of my friend who had scored 83 % in 10th, was denied the admission to Computer Science batch because he was Maratha-Upper caste. He got mad that day. We, with the guy who got admission from reserved seat, kept on convincing him. But he got mad and start abusing. No one had answer. That day my father told me all the history of reservation and told me that we have to suffer this. Our ancestors had made many such unlawful crimes. We have to suffer this. Actually this is not anyway suffering, this is result of Kalachakra.
Latter, as I am getting familiar with Newspapers and today politics, I became more and more introvert thinking on the same line. And then came this word "Secular". I have read in school days that India is Secular State. Then I kept on finding the meaning of Secular. It questioned me lot, are we really Secular? Is India really a Secular state? Here your caste is written on your forehead. You have been hammered continuously in schools, colleges, in admission procedures, job searching with your castes. We are not Indian, we are Brahmin, then Hindu and then if any, We are Indian. Also in that Brahmin also some are deshastha, kokanashthas and etc. We are so divided not in two parts but in many parts at such ground level that We can not stand as a United Nation today.
Crush this caste part. We are Indian first.
Vande Mataram.
