Mumbai BMC Election 2006!!
Only two days are remaining. The great grand shows, road shown, rallies come to end today. Now everybody's eye is on 2 nd Feb, the result day.
In last days the Sena-BJP became confident about their victory. Because the opposition remain only of MNS. The Congress and NCP are busy in battling with each other. RR Patil alias ABA and 'GURU'das Kamath are in full form batting like anything. (Marathit nusati adalapat karat ahet). They know they couldn't get the hot sit. The NCP has the rarest chance to win BMC.
What I think is their is some understanding between Balasaheb and BaramatiSaheb like 'Mumbai, Thane is yours and Pune, Pimpri is ours'. All their moves indicates this.
According to Abhi(My cousine) and me, what we conclude is Sena will retain BMC and they will cross 100 mark. The Sena-BJP both will capture BMC with Sufficient majority. The statistics will be like:
Sena : 100 to 105
BJP : 25 to 35
Congress: 50-65
NCP: 25-30
MNS: 15-20
Others: 20
The biggest looser this time will be Raj Thakre's MNS. The hype and glamour created by Raj is over I think. He has no other face to show. And his sole aim is to divide Marathi votes. But Marathis in Mumbai can't deny the fact that Sena was always been there of them. So they will surely vote for Sena in large nos. if the MNS lost this time (20 seats are more and less loss), we can surely say the end of MNS. Becuase Raj charisma is limited to Mumbai and in some proportion to Nashik. But if he can't perform in Mumbai, rest of state will never entertain him. So 1st Feb is going to be important day for him.
UDF will emerge as real winner in this elections. Thanks to Balasaheb for his two grand rallies one at Shivaji Park with Narendra Modi, and Second in Thane. But he should understand that Balasaheb will never be there in any of next election. It will be difficult for UDF then to hold the remote of Sena by not taking part in active politics. He has to enter into main streamline of politics.
These are after-elction things...
Let us hold our eyes on 2 nd Feb.
