FDI in retail may not solve many of the problems faced by farmers, it will be a step in right direction hence needs to be welcomed. I agree with Abhishek. FDI is good for consumers too as it gives them better deal. FDI would prove to be good for unorganised retailers too as it will teach them how to do a fair business and how to be competitive. I doubt it will ever lead to any monopolies.

Good presentation! It reflects your study. I feel FDI may be useful, but it will again give ownership to foreigners and that may be harmful.
